Decision 2012

I took my two little girls with me this afternoon to vote. Emily was on my left hip, my big purse on my right shoulder and Claire in her car seat at my feet as I exercised my right as an American to vote.

For many years, and from many people, I have heard that when it comes down to it, an individual vote doesn't really matter, especially when you do not live in a battle ground state. BUT, I disagree.

Leaving my little voting booth, with a sticker on my chest, I felt proud and thankful to live in a free country where I am given the right to choose who governs me and my family.

Truly grateful to be an American!
