We live in a town that celebrates its 150 anniversary this year, and with that has come lot of extra fun so close to home. On Wednesday Devin didn't have to go into the clinic until 1pm, so we spent the morning watching the tail end of the parade that led right into the carnival. We love the atmosphere of carnivals. We kept talking about the movies that carnivals remind us of...BIG and SANDLOT. It was nearing Emily's nap time, and getting hotter by the minute, so we decided we would come back at night with all the lights. On our way home, we stopped in for a free slice of pizza at the local pizza place. Emily loved it!
We are so glad we came back at night. It was much less crowded, all the babies/kids were at home and tucked in their beds, leaving the kid rides wide open. We were the only ones on the carosel, and the worker let us ride for about 15 minutes. $3 very well spent.
Emily did so well. She didn't get to bed until after 11pm, and was such a trooper the whole time.
