Thanksgiving 2010

Because we just went home to Atlanta to visit my family, and we are going to Utah for Christmas to be with Devin's family...we decided to stay in Illinois this year for Thanksgiving. And we're glad we did. We were invited to the Walker's house for dinner, and had a wonderful time being with friends from our church. Melissa and I work together in Young Women's at church, and you know those people/women that you associate with who you want to be just like? Melissa is one of those women for me. She has 4 of the cutest kids, and her family always draws my attention every week in Sacrament meeting. Melissa makes everything pretty. Her home was so inviting, and warm, and decorated beautifully for the holiday. It was truly a great way to spend Thanksgiving. We were surrounded with fabulous company!
Here's Melissa with just a few of her delicious creations...

The desserts...
She cooked a HAM and a TURKEY! Devin was in heaven!

The kid table:
Melissa and Paul have an almost 2 year old girl (Nora), and they graciously gave us Nora's exersaucer. Emily tried it out, and seemed to like it. Merry Christmas Emily...from the Walker's!

This is Halle Walker (4) and she was so cute with Emily. She kept saying, "Oh, Emily is just so cute!" She requested to hold her a few times, and was just beaming each time she got to hold "the baby". She showed me one of her baby dolls who coincidentally is named Emily too.

Nora and Halle with Emily. Look at Nora holding Emmie's hand...so sweet! She would pet her head too.

These are pictures just for fun...
Devin wanted to document Emily watching the BYU vs Utah game...
