Our Valentine's Day was a great one. Devin had a big final Valentine's Day morning, which meant that Emily and I got him all to ourselves that night, with no studying interruptions. We spent the evening eating 1/2 price sushi, browsing the Lake Forest library for some free dvd rentals, and watching one of the movies that we have wanted to see since it was in theaters: The Lovely Bones.
Our little valentine was a delight at the restuarant, and we both agreed it was her Valentine's Day gift to her parents.
Yes, I crafted the hearts on her onsie. It was my little project while she was napping. A little felt, a little hot glue, a little puff paint...and viola....a homemade, tacky, crafty, shirt!
Why is it that when you give your camera to your waiter at the restaurant, they never know how to take a good picture? It's not centered on us and the window takes up almost half of the photo. Case in point:
