Last week Emily had school pictures, and actually let me curl her hair with a curling iron. She must be growing up, because I have asked so many times if I can curl it, and she has always refused, but she stood on the bathroom stool and looked at herself in the mirror as I curled her whole head. And she loved it. Watching her look at herself...she really felt beautiful. Since that day she has asked if I would curl her hair, so I did it again for church.
Because we are having family photos taken in a few weeks, we decided not to purchase her preschool portrait package. I took a few of my own before dropping her off.
