Tonight we went to another "Concert in the Square". I wish they had these every single week, year round. Emily absolutely LOVES the live music and the food/snacks we bring, and we love the atmosphere and laid back venue. Tonight we got there a little after it started and there were no open spaces for us to set up our chairs, but miraculously, we found a bench that provided a nice dance floor for Emily. She danced her little heart out, Claire peacefully dozed in and out of sleep and we all listened to some great oldies.
Emily has some good moves. She practices them all day long as she dances in our living room to the many different tunes that her various toys produce. And boy does her practice pay off when it comes show time in front of an audience. We had so many people comment on her cute little personality, and of course, her dancing. I love that little kids have no shame or insecurity...they don't care what people think!
We watched and encouraged her, while laughing at the entertainment she provided.

Next week is the last concert of the summer, and we won't be there. The girls and I are headed to a family reunion/beach trip in Hilton Head, SC this Saturday and will be there for a week. So tonight was our last concert :( Good thing it was so fun!

Claire changes on a weekly basis and looks so alert and beautiful. I love that Emily can even dance to the oldies at those summer concerts. That girl really knows her moves!!
