Concert in the Square

Last summer we were late in the game in attending the weekly free concerts in the downtown square of our little town, and wished we would have gone to more. This summer, well, I had a baby at the beginning of it, so we have missed the first half of the Thursday night concerts in the square.

Last night we finally went! It was a country music cover band, and they played a bunch of great songs...from oldies to recent. The weather was miraculously and perfectly pleasant. (Not of a drop of sweat from this post pregnancy/hormonal momma...and that says A LOT!) We used a Groupon and got a pizza, set up our camping chairs and passed the girls back and forth (depending on who Emily wanted at the moment, meant the other got to hold Claire) all while listening to some great music.

I think Emily was in heaven...we were outside (her favorite)...eating pizza and fruit snacks (both, her favorite)...listening to loud music (her favorite)...and dancing! (again, her favorite)

Emily was trying to make Claire's hand wave to the camera.

Blowing bubbles (another favorite) during one of the band's breaks.

And all the while this little cutie was such a sport!  Look at those deep blue eyes...who did she get those from, and I wonder if they will stick?
