Emily and I got a great surprise, and were able to spend 3 days with Devin this weekend! We didn't do much beyond the normal, but it was so good to be "normal" for 3 days together :)

Emily was already asleep when Devin got home, but the next morning was a sweet reunion

We spent the first day getting both of our car's emission tests, then driving to Wisconsin to have another go at the Jelly Belly Factory Tour. Emily was awful. We thought for sure she would love the little train ride, especially with us there with her, but all she wanted ot do was get off the train and walk around.

Bath time...the joy of Emily's life.

The weather cooperated with us, and we were able to go for a long walk on Saturday, and spend some time at the lake. Going to the lake is probably our favorite family outing since Emily arrived in our lives. She is talking up a storm these days, and the whole time we pushed her in the swing she kept pointing to the lake and saying, "Water!" I have a feeling this summer we will be living here...a repeat of last summer, but with another new baby to add to the fun.

And today was Emily's first day in Nursery at church. She officially turned 18 months (requirement for nursery) on Friday, and today we dropped our big girl off at nursery with the other big kids. She did great...not even an ounce of sadness when we left her.

2 hours later when we went to pick her up, I think we were more excited to see her than she was to see us. She still wanted to play with the toys. But she gave me some good love when she realized she was coming with us.
