This past Saturday, June 28th, was our Primary Temple field trip. I serve in the Primary Presidency in our ward (church congregation), and we have been talking about/planning this field trip for several months. It was fun to have it come to life. We had a great turn out! Most every child, between the age of 3-12, came with their families/parents. We started by entering the temple and sitting in the waiting room in the front entrance. Just watching the kid's faces as we walked in was so sweet. I heard a few of them say ,"We're going inside the temple!" As Primary leaders, we talk about the temple often in our lessons, so to actually see the kids experience it, was very special. In the waiting room, the Temple President and his wife came and talked to the kids for few minutes, and then we all went outside and walked around the temple grounds. I loved being there with our girls. Symbolic in so many ways to be there as a family!

It was hot/humid, and Claire was hungry...which means she was not that into picture taking.
Touching the Temple!
