Tuesday night, at 11:15pm, I left the parent's house to head to the airport to pick up DEVIN! He is here with us until Saturday the 2nd of March, and we could not be happier. His ER rotation for February required a certain amount of shifts/hours to be completed and Devin could choose when he wanted to get them finished. So he chose to work 70 hours a weeks for the first 3 weeks he was there, leaving him with a week and a few days off at the end of the month. So he headed west :)
When we got home it was past midnight, and Devin went and scooped Emily up out of bed. She looked up at him and sleepily smiled and shook her legs saying "daddy!" It was a good reaction. Claire is too small to scoop up...might take a while for her to fall back asleep...so he just opted to sneak a peek at her sleeping instead.
The next morning we went to breakfast together; our little family of four reunited.
Then headed over to one of Emily's favorites, Costco.
Claire's first time sitting upright in the shopping cart...no more lugging that car-seat in anymore!

And last night we took Emily to ride the Ferris Wheel in the newest Scheels Outfitting store.
Poor girl ran into the corner of a table.
So excited to keep playing while Devin is here!

yea! So happy you get a little time with Devin before he heads back! I know exactly how you are feeling right now... but just keep swimming! The end is in sight! It's crazy to think you guys are almost done! We're very excited for you guys!
