Thanksgiving Road Trip - Louisville

Devin, Emily and I packed up and shipped out early Tuesday morning, 2 days before Thanksgiving. We had a lot of road to cover in order to complete the trip we had extensively planned. And we made it to all the places we wanted to go. Besides hitting a deer on the last 3 hours of our drive home at the end of our 6 day adventure, we had a great trip and made some fun memories. Our first stop was Louisville, Kentucky. We went to the Louisville Slugger factory and museum, where baseball bats are made. We couldn't take pictures of the factory tour, but let me tell you, it was cool to see how a baseball bat is made.

We also stopped by Churchill Downs, where the Kentucky Derby is held every year. It's amazing that so much hype is built up for horses to run 1 lap around the track. It was still cool to see it.Photobucket
