Here's a random selection of recent photos.

We have so enjoyed our beach pass to the Lake Michigan beach about a mile from our house. It's a great "get-out-of-the-house-and-do-something-fun-and-close-by-and-for-free" family activity. We go down there at least 3 times a week, even if it's just to walk around, push Emily on the swing, and look through the telescope that it placed at the end of the pier. What is it about a great big body of water that is so peaceful and beautiful? We love it.
Emily is loving these 2 stuffed dogs a lot lately. She puts them under her neck and hugs them, then moves her upper body back and forth like she's giving them "loves".
We made our own sushi last weekend, and it was SO DELICIOUS! Devin found a store that sells fresh, raw fish...so we got some raw salmon and tuna and made our own rolls.
And this is just a funny picture of Emily smiling really big, but then blinking right as I took the picture.
Emily is really into pointing her index finger to the sky. She does it when she firsts sees me in the morning, or when Devin walks through the door from school. It's like her little greeting.

And the most recent happening occured last night while walking on the side walk at the beach. She is a great little walker, but last night she tripped on something (still not sure what) and completely face planted on the cement. It was so so so sad, and is still so so so sad just looking at her poor little face. She is on antibiotics for an ear infection, 2 molars coming in, and now these scrapes on her face. Today was a rough day for this little buttercup.
