Devin turned 28 on March 29th. We were house/dog sitting for our Bishop's family at the time and were spoiled to have a nice big house to spread out and celebrate in. Devin had a big test the morning after his birthday, so he was studying all day/night and we didn't do much beyond the typical cake and presents to celebrate.
Games have been a way for us to have a little date night in our living room after Emily goes to bed. We have some dessert, listen to our latest playlist, and play our game of choice. There aren't that many games that can be played between just 2 people. I thought Jenga would be a good one to add to our selection.
That's a lot of candles. This cake was a creative cake gone terribly wrong. It did not turn out how I had envisioned it, but it still tasted good :)
The next day after his test was behind him we went out for some birthday sushi. Emily was a dream and sat in her car seat for half the time (something that NEVER happens).
