We had a fun 4th of July. Every holiday keeps getting more and more fun as the kids are getting older and able to understand the traditions and festivities. What's not to love about July 4th? Warm... fresh summer produce and bbq... a day of from the normal routine... parades... fireworks...
We were on the committee in charge of putting on the church picnic/party, so we spent a few hours f our morning/early afternoon setting up, putting on, and taking down the picnic. Devin loved having an excuse to make homemade root beer, complete with dry ice.
The afternoon was nap time for the kiddos before having a evening/night of walking to our town's firework show. The girls just LOVED everything about the fireworks.
