Gingerbread Houses

The Holloway's, a family from church, invited us over to decorate gingerbread houses. I had an idea of what to expect... small graham cracker houses with a few candy options and icing to make it look pretty. We had no idea what was awaiting us upon our arrival.

Meet our pre-made 100% gingerbread house. Kim made 7 of these, and they were awesome! Notice the hearts on the front...those were our stain glass windows. How incredible is this house?

Their oldest son Mark made this. Kind of weird...and not sure if we should read too much into it or not. In the front lawn, he broke a part little ginger bread boys and used red icing as their blood.

It was Devin's idea to use twizzlers and jelly bellys as Christmas lights on the roof. Very creative. About half the candy went in our mouths before making it to the house.

Devin decorated the back of the house and wanted it documented when we got home.
It was a fun night with neighbors, Christmas music, and candy! Thanks Holloway's!
