10 Months old is our Claire Bearski (Emily's latest nickname for Claire.)
The past 2 months and most especially the past month Claire has gone through a lot of changes and progression in baby world.
Eating like a champ.
She eats whatever we are eating as long as it is soft and easy to chew.
Loves kiwis, avocado, oatmeal, eggs (hard boiled and scrambled), banana, squash, peas, and BEANS!
Just about weened from breast feeding, and as of this past week is successfully drinking from a bottle. We are dropping the girls off with my Dad and Mary in a week and a half so we can go on a trip sans kids. Having her weened and drinking from a bottle was a huge anxiety for me, but we've done it, and she has transitioned beautifully and right on schedule. I nursed Emily until she was 13 months, so it feels like we are stopping so abruptly, but there are pros to not having her dependent on me. It is strange seeing her drink from a bottle!
She's crawling!
This started a little over a week ago, and boy does she love the freedom. Emily loves it too. She thinks it's so funny that Claire can now follow her, and it has created another level of play for those two. I really love watching them play and laugh together, and am thankful they are so close in age, even though sometimes that aspect is hard. It is so good for them to have each other.
I absolutely love our Claire, and am anticipating her quick departure from being a baby and becoming a toddler. That transition happens so stinkin' fast!
